you know i remember these being sold when i was a kid. anyway these were among my moms knitting items. and i really charish them alot. have alot of fond memories of mom knitting sweaters even in her 90's every christmas for as long as i can remember mom knit sweaters or hats for all the children.
she was 93 when she passed on some 11 years back. and i am so glad she shared her knitting with me .

It's wonderful passing on a tradition or skill to your family. I was given all of my Grandmother's knitting or crochet items because I was the only one using it. [I think of her a lot when I knit also] So my Mom looks forward to something I knit for her.
I hope I'm knitting when I'm 90! That's so awesome. My grandmother taught me to knit and it makes it really special to me to be able to say that.
