this one is all wool. and just my size fits fine. now I am wondering how long before I hear MOM I LOVE IT CAN I HAVE THIS ONE???sooooooooo we will see. this last picture did some photo adjusting too so the colors are allot deeper then that hat really is its more the second pictures colors.
Thought the clover leaves buttons would be a good touch. I sewed those around the hat at about a fingers length up and then down all the way around.

The shamrocks are a nice touch. I like that shade of green too... Kelly green right? And the mix of colors around the side is nice. Does it come down over your ears? Now that I've worn wool, that's the only fiber I use for my hats now. In fact, my very favorite is felted. So warm & wind proof!
i think its a kelly green it was the closest i could get to a nice warm green the local yarn store is full of some really dark colors nothing bright there. yes it covers my ears :)
